Airworthiness Manager

Air X Charter Limited is a leading private jet chartering company headquartered in Malta. Due to their continuous growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Airworthiness Manager to join their CAMO department. 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintenance control of Company Aircraft and Liaison with various Part 145 facilities worldwide
• Management and control of Camo/Planning officers
• Issue and Management of Line and Base Maintenance Work Packs and Task Cards In Accordance With the Approved Maintenance Programmes
• Control of Out Of Phase Maintenance Requirements, in accordance with the Approved Maintenance Programmes
• Creation, management and presentation of the long-term fleet maintenance plan.
• Recommendation of input dates, considering variables such as maintenance due dates and operational needs
• Review of service bulletins, airworthiness directives and modification in respect of planning requirements.
• Planning IT system (currently OASES system) lead and coordinator. Liaison with suppliers, trainers etc on system and staff needs and contract administration.
• Loading and monitoring of aircraft onto OASES system, assessment of operational and ICA requirements for specific aircraft configurations.
• Lead for software changes and patches before implementation into the live system
• Day to day team lead of planning team in department
• Liaison with Company Operations and Aircrew
• Other Areas of Technical Services as required.
• Overseas travel may be required occasionally

Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge and awareness of EASA Airworthiness Regulations and Requirements
• Effective Communicator to deal with internal and external customers and agencies
• Previous Airline/MRO Planning Experience
• Current Training including Human Factors, Fuel tank Safety, EWIS, Continuation Training, (SMS)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role and familiar with all aspects of Aircraft Maintenance
• Recent Boeing and Airbus Experience is essential
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of the OASES tracking system
• Boeing or Airbus Type rated license would be advantageous

• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with analytical problem-solving skills and computer proficiency skills are essential
• Advanced ability to problem-solve and react positively to all types of difficult situations
• Good communicator and an excellent motivator and team orientated person
• Excellent skills in personal computer operation, word processing, and spreadsheet
