Position description
SWISS Engineering needs additional support in the Interior Engineering team. The successful applicant would provide technical support in terms of repair solutions or modifications. He/she is responsible for the configuration of our aircraft interiors. Therefore he/she has to ensure appearance and functionality throughout adequate inspection concepts in order to meet passenger comfort and reliability targets. This support may be required also outside office hours or at external locations. These technical solutions are designed in cooperation with the original equipment manufacturers and suppliers or may follow on created solutions based on EASA Part 21 approvals.
Your Duties
* Support implementation of new or adapted interior tasks to our maintenance program
* Provide technical solutions to our maintenance in terms of modification campaigns or individual repairs for the SWISS and Edelweiss interiors
* Ensure compliance to airworthiness in connection with the EASA Part M/21/145 requirements and our internal processes and standards
* Support the definition for specifications to aircrafts and components
* Assist towards phase-in and phase-out of aircrafts
Requirements
* Bachelor/Master degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
* Fluent German and English; written and spoken
* Preferably 3 years or more of professional experience in aviation within a similar function
* Background of aviation, i.e. equivalent previous jobs or specific education
* Proficiency in use of MS Office EDP applications
* Team player and willingness to share know-how
* Communication and presentation skills to target audience
* Cross-business thinking
