Part M Aviation Ireland is an aircraft maintenance management company providing services to leasing companies, airlines and private owners. Established in 2010 and based in Shannon Co Clare, Part M’s primary function is as a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). As part of exciting expansion plans Part M are recruiting for the following position.

AIRCRAFT PLANNING ENGINEER’s

*Limited positions available in Dublin also.  

Primary Tasks:

  • Prepare Aircraft Maintenance Programmes and submit to the relevant Authority for approval.

  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance, the application of airworthiness directives, the replacement of service life limited parts, and component inspection to ensure the work is carried out properly.

  • Prepare current status of Engine/Airframe/Component Life Limitations in accordance with the approved maintenance data.

  • Prepare the current status of Engine/Airframe/Appliance Service Bulletins / Airworthiness Directives as required by the approved maintenance programme.

  • Ensure that Maintenance Instructions are amended correctly and to the latest issue.  

  • Update of appropriate computerised maintenance systems.

  • Day to day running of the maintenance management including preparing reliability programme reports as required.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Possess between 3 to 5 years of work experience within a CAMO environment.

  • B1 License or Aeronautical degree

  • Previous ARC signatory advantageous

  • Excellent Microsoft skills

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Be diligent and have strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated team player with an aptitude for leadership

  • Have a problem-solving attitude

  • Knowledge of software systems will be considered an asset

  • Completion of a relevant Type or GenFam or Part M course is advantageous
