Job opportunities for Aircraft Mechanics, Structural Fitters and Electricians


Virtual Human Resources (javascript:void(0);) is recruiting for a number of aircraft mechanics, structural fitters and electricians for our clients in Germany for long-term opportunities.

Candidates requirements:

MUST SPEAK GERMAN (candidate who do not speak German cannot be considered for these roles)

  • Previous experience in the aircraft industry (production or maintenance)
  • Experience having worked as structural fitter/mechanic/electrician minimum 1 year
  • Specific structural fitter training or specific production training is an asset

Duties as Structural Fitter:

  • Manufacture and assembly of rivet joints and assemblies on structural components according to construction documents, manufacturing instructions and drawings
  • Production of components according to the valid aviation standards
  • Make preparations, including sifting through and sorting orders and drawings, upgrading components and building site, and inspecting and deploying manufacturing equipment
  • Positioning and fixing of components
  • Implementation and documentation of the assembly of components and assemblies
  • Execution of surface protection (rivet head application, preserving of seal seams)

Duties as Equipment Mechanic

  • Preparation of mechanical and hydraulic components at the construction, work and machine station
  • Installation of mechanical and hydraulic components and components (eg brackets, hydraulic installations, gearboxes, large components), including marking, equipping, mounting, adjusting, torquing and securing
  • Testing according to specifications and functional test
  • Documentation of work and complaints

Duties Equipment Electrician:

  • Preparing electrical components after commissioning at the construction or workplace, eg fetching, reading, adjusting, equipping and setting up
  • Testing and testing, including mass testing, troubleshooting and documentation in the IT system
  • Installation of electrical components and components (eg cable bundles and brackets), including marking, equipping, laying, connecting, assembling, assembling and soldering
  • Adapting electrical components eg on panels, boards, sections as well as torquing and securing
  • Documentation of work and complaints

Personal requirements:

  • Concentrated and able to work independently on a task for a long time
  • Quality-oriented and responsible way of working
  • The willingness to shift work in 2-3 shift operation
