For our Erfurt-Weimar Airport location, we are looking to fill the following position:
Aircraft Mechanic EASA Part-66 CAT A (m/f)
Your tasks
- Conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on aircraft in the airframe/engine area
- Independent installation of components onto assemblies according to technical drawings and work instructions
- Installation tasks and function tests according to regulation
- Triage of unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Conduct of repairs in the airframe area, on structural parts (metal or fibre-composite)
- Correct documentation of all maintenance tasks
Your profile
- Several years of experience in the servicing of large, civil aviation aircraft and their engines in the line and base maintenance area
- Completed training as an aircraft equipment mechanic/builder
- Relevant knowledge of airframe structure
- Knowledge and experience with manufacturers‘ documentation (AMM and IPC)
- Good EDP skills especially with WINGS maintenance software (would be an advantage)
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English for correspondence
- Good knowledge of aviation regulations (LBA, EASA, FAA)
- Class B driver‘s license
- Confident decision-making and communication performance
- Readiness for team-oriented collaboration
- Great ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and a conscientious, proactive work approach - Readiness for travel and shift duty
