Mansell Aviation Recruitment are seeking several Aircraft Mechanics to join an exciting organisation who are at the forefront of innovative next generation of travel.
Within this position you will report directly to the Workshop manager and will work on a variety of projects and tasks.
This position would suit an all-rounder who can assist in the running of the Workshops from 3D printing duties to working with different materials to fix problems up to soldering electric components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.
- Support of the internal test vehicle from assembly to flight preparation.
- Assistance in the production as well as disassembly and assembly of mechanical components.
- Processing of various materials (wood, plastic, metal) by grinding, drilling or bonding.
- Work on the calibration of various equipment and machines.
- Troubleshooting and feedback of errors to the corresponding teams, cooperation for cause analysis.
- Active participation in continuous process improvement.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in assembly, modification and repair of technical products in individual production through manual and machine-supported processing such as cutting, sawing, bending, bonding, grinding, drilling, screwing, riveting, soldering and welding.
- Proven in processing of materials such as metal, wood, plastic and ideally CFRP and GFRP.
- Knowledge in electrics and/or electronics.
- Excellent technical understanding, strong spatial and procedural imagination.
- Craftsmanship, creative and solution-oriented work approach are basic requirements.
- Experience in the field of aero modelling or building of light aircrafts or boats would be an advantage.
- Successfully implemented own projects prove your abilities.
