This announcement is for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for Ravn Air Group. This
position reports to the Lead Mechanic for Ravn Connect and is responsible for repairs and
maintenance on assigned aircraft, under supervision or as trained and qualified to perform.
The successful candidate will have a valid FAA mechanic certificate with an airframe and
powerplant (A&P) rating and one year or more of experience repairing and maintaining
aircraft, preferably heavy turboprop.

This is a non-exempt, full time, benefits-eligible position. Position typically works four 10-hour
days in Fairbanks, however overtime may be required as dictated by business needs and with
management approval.
Minimum Qualifications
 High School Diploma/GED required;  Hold a current FAA mechanic certificate with both an airframe and powerplant rating;  Must have a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record according to the company’s insurance

policy;  Demonstrated mechanical knowledge of PA31 Chieftain and Beech 1900 aircraft or similar turboprop
aircraft is highly desired;  Must be able to effectively troubleshoot all aircraft systems;  Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings to perform required maintenance tasks;  Requires a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS);  Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks;  Good written and verbal communication skills;  Proficient, or able to become proficient, in all documentation of paperwork using maintenance tracking
software program, including material requisitions;  Must be willing and able to travel for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and/or provide coverage for other duty
stations, usually in two week stints;  Must be willing and able to work a swing shift;  Able to pass a background check;  Comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with
operating aircraft.

Duties & Responsibilities
 Responsible for repairs and maintenance on assigned aircraft;  Remove/disassemble parts as required then assemble and install replacement parts and components

as needed;  Assist in troubleshooting of maintenance issues involving aircraft structures, systems and engines;  Perform modifications per FAA regulations and company General Maintenance Manual (GMM);  Complete all necessary maintenance records and paperwork as required;  Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings to perform required maintenance tasks;  Other duties as assigned and within the scope of this position.
