This is a fantastic opportunity for an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to join Virgin Atlantics (VAA) Engineering department. You will be based at Heathrow Hanagar and will be accountable for effective front line supervision of aircraft and maintenance teams to ensure delivery of maintenance plans and compliance with all safety, regulatory, company requirements and procedures.

You will be working with the Production, planning and technical managers to lead and complete the maintenance plan for the responsible area by delivering the highest safety, maintenance and reliability standards whilst achieving the required quality and cost targets.

 

As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will hold valid European Aviation Saftey Agency (EASA) / Civil Aviaiation Authorty (CAA) Licence qualifications coupled with the associated certification responsibilities and company approvals on VAA fleet types.

You will have sound knowledge of EASA/CAA airworthiness regulations and an understanding of internal procedures and awareness of quality, health & safety and environmental legislative requirements. Good understanding of Engineering IT Systems (Ultramain) is essential to this role.
