These rare opportunities exist within our Aircraft Maintenance teams based in Brisbane and Melbourne. We are seeking applications from motivated and committed candidates for the following positions:

* 1st Year Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical)

We are searching for candidates who are highly driven to excel through what will be a challenging and demanding apprenticeship. You will demonstrate well established analytical skills, high attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

To ensure your success in this role you will possess the following:

* The ability to work rotating shift rosters, including overnights

* Hold a current state drivers licence

* Year 12 High School certificate

* Successful completion of Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Theory component

To assist you throughout your apprenticeship at Virgin Australia, you will be assigned a Mentor to provide you with guidance and advice. Your mentor will be selected from our experienced & high performing Engineering team.

To be successful in joining our program you will have to be passionate, committed and meet the prerequisites of the apprenticeship. If you are looking at an opportunity to prove yourself then this is the role you have been looking for.
