Reporting to the
Airworthiness Manager, the
Aircraft Configuration Engineer will be responsible for initialising and controlling configurations of existing, entry into service and new aircraft (including associated parts) within the
Jet2.com fleet.
The
Aircraft Configuration Engineer will use the
Airline Maintenance and Operational Systems (AMOS) to ensure aircraft parts are effectively initialised and controlled as part of our continued fleet expansion. Using the Boeing Warranty System, you will ensure all warranty claims are submitted and processed as quickly as possible for new aircraft acquisitions. Responsible for parts interchangeability and alternate parts, you will liaise closely with other teams within
Engineering, advising of future requirements to support the fleet.
The successful candidate will ideally have
experience within in a Continuing Airworthiness role, preferably with a good understanding of
AMOS. You will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work in a logical manner, organised and methodical with strong communication skills. With exacting standards and a proactive approach, you will be able to adapt and respond positively to change. Creating and developing strong business relationships at all levels will be a particular strength.
