Aircraft Cabin Mechanic/Trimmer
Southern Based
Predominately supporting London Gatwick and London Luton Airports but with scope to work away and cover any airport.
Competitive Salary Dependent on experience
40 hour week working nights shifts including 4 on/4 off
Shifts are subject to change depending on operational requirements.
DUTIES INCLUDE AND NOT LIMITED TO:

Carrying out all aspects of aircraft cabin maintenance and rectification work.

Carry out planned maintenance under direction of engineering personnel.

Conduct cabin standards surveys.

Complete relevant task documentation.

Use IPC and CMM’s for parts identification.

When necessary, assist other Engineering and Support divisions.
EXPERIENCE:
-
Aircraft interiors experience or qualification in Cabin Trimming
-
Working knowledge of aircraft seats, upkeep and repairs.

Ability to work in both line and base maintenance environment.
-
Soft furnishing/trimming experience (a distinct advantage).

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Full UK driving license
-
Must be computer literate
-
Self-motivated and an ability to work under pressure.

Able to work to deadlines.
-
Currently available to work in the UK.

A full DRB check will be required.
Due to location own transport and a full UK driving licence are essential.
