Aircraft Avionics Technician

MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Avionics Technicians to work in Boscombe Down, Wiltshire.

Approx 12 month contract.

Applicants must have served an Aircraft Apprenticeship and have copies of their papers.

This position requires strong modification experienced avionic technicians proficient in harness installation, termination, modification, DIT-MCO and system testing.

This position required ideally Chinook or extensive other helicopter experience.

Working on a shift rotation system of early and lates candidates will form part of a small team working to set schedules and tight timeframes. Shift Work rotating a week about from earlies to lates. Between the hours of 5.45am and 23.15 Monday to Thursday. Friday is between the hours of 05.45am and 17.15pm.

Approx 40 hours per week

£22.00 per hour LTD

If successful, applicants will need to go through the Security Clearance procedure before can start on site and this can take up to approx 3 weeks.
