Aircraft Engine Mechanic

 

 

The main purpose of the role: Perform all operations necessary for the repair, disassembly and assembly of aircraft gas turbine engines and components in accordance with prescribed engineering and technical instructions

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Disassembly and assembly of engines and modules to the level specified using the correct required tooling and technical instructions

  • Accomplish and document the completion of prescribed tasks according to approved Technical Manual procedures and publications

  • Placing modules and parts into suitable transport containers for movement within and around the facility

  • Regular control of required tooling and equipment (condition and where required calibration status control)

  • Replace or repair worn, defective, or damaged components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment

  • Disassemble and inspect engine parts, such as turbine blades, cases, rotating parts, for wear, warping, cracks, and leaks.

  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Min. 3 years on Aircraft Engine Mechanic Position in a EASA part 145 or 21 G organisation

  • Technical education

  • English min. B2

  • Attention to Detail, Mechanical Skills, Technical Skills, Manual Dexterity
