Aerospace Quality Engineer

NTS Unitek has immediate openings for 2 Aerospace Quality Engineers to support in-house at our client’s facility in Naples, Florida.

Responsibilities:

* Review of updates of Manufacturing Engineering work plans

* Ensure appropriate verification and validation methods based on process type (primarily assembly and test of mechanical assemblies)

* Review and or creation inspection procedures

* Perform preliminary review board

* Support structured problem solving (A3 - 8D)

* Various analysis tasks: (e.g. fault tree, 5-why, Cpk, etc)

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree

* Three (3) or more years of quality engineering experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment

* Working knowledge of AS9100 Quality Systems

* Experience and ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T

* Ability to assess nonconforming products, processes or services, evaluate root cause analysis and work with suppliers to implement and maintain corrective/preventive actions
