Aerodynamic Design Engineer
Exciting new Contract opportunity for an Aerodynamic Design Engineer with a background in Composites and F1/ Motorsport based in Italy.
You will be working for a prestigious team in a friendly environment with plenty to keep you challenged.

Purpose of the Role:
To design aerodynamic surfaces for CFD, Wind Tunnel and Race Cars.
Principal Accountabilities:
Preparation of robust parametric surface models for CFD, wind tunnel and race car to tight deadlines under the direction of the Aerodynamicists.
CAD definition of race car wetted surfaces to meet Vehicle Design and legality requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Minimum 2 years Catia V5 advanced surfacing experience essential.
Formula 1 Aerodynamics surfacing experience preferred.
Ability to pass Catia surfacing test to a high standard (surface quality, construction, robustness) within a specific time limit.
Degree in mechanical engineering type discipline preferred.
Personal Attributes:
Creative and thoughtful approach to solving engineering challenges.
High level of attention to detail.
Self-motivated, display a good level of initiative.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and team working skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
