Cathay Pacific is looking for a talented and driven Administrator, who will support the London Heathrow Airport Engineering Manager in accomplishing administrative duties for the Line Station in order to meet Company and legislative requirements for Line Maintenance.

This is a temporary maternity cover contract offered on a full-time basis for 12 months.

To be successful, you will need demonstrable experience within an administrative role, commercially focused with strong initiative, creativity and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform administration duties when rostered to do so under guidance of Engineering Manager/Engineering Supervisor or Duty Engineer

* Keep up-to-date with the IT systems functionality required for administration duties

* Assist with the administration of Station Company ground equipment and vehicles

* Assist with the station engineering fire protection

* Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the Engineering facility

* Maintain PC literacy

* Assist with the company material handling storage

* Assist with the maintenance of all station Technical Publications

* Complete station logs and records

* Action technical documents and enters data into Ultramain as per the company’s procedures

* Property management and the renewal and re-negotiation of office equipment contracts and installation

Requirements:

* Educated to GCSE Level (Maths and English Level C) or equivalent

* Broad aviation and/or airport experience and knowledge

* Demonstrable work experience and administrative skills

* IT literate to include Microsoft Office

* Excellent customer service for internal and external customers

* Experience of working face to face with members of the general public

* Effective time management and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail

* Ability to follow company policies and procedures

* Demonstrable experience of working unsupervised and within a large team

* Excellent command of spoken and written English

* Good understanding of foreign cultures
