Position Description

****THIS IS A TEMPORARY ASSIGNMNET WITH AN EXPECTED DURATION OF 6 MONTHS***

Provides administrative support services to assist one or more personnel officers/human resource specialists to compile, maintain and process information relating to employee relations, recruitment and staffing, compensation, benefits, systems or training. Processes application forms, compiles statistics/reports, maintains personnel records/filing systems and schedules training, interviews, meetings and equipment for the above programs/services.

Specific Accountabilities

*Provides administrative support as required (i.e. compiles reports, issues communications, copies, faxes, files, answers phones, prepares orientation/training packets, coordinates internal training activities and meetings).
*Assists with the selection process for job vacancies. This includes placing notices and advertisements, screening applications, coordinating interviews and candidate logistics, initiating background screens, issuing internal notifications, notifying candidates not selected, assisting with job fairs.
*Coordinates and assists with new employee orientations and ensures all necessary forms and documents are completed and returned.
*Processes changes in employee status, pay, benefits, training, etc. by collecting completed forms, obtaining applicable approval signatures, ensuring data is complete and entering data within the applicable information systems.
*Compiles, prepares and distributes routine, ad hoc, special and legislatively required reports and documents related to personnel activities.
*Researches and responds to questions from employees and managers regarding human resource programs, policies and procedures or refers to team members as appropriate.
*Responds to questions from outside authorized persons and agencies with respect to employee data by examining employee files and records, referring unusual requests to manager.
*Maintains and updates manual and computerized filing and registration systems.
*Carries out special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements

*Prior experience working in the Human Resources field including recruitment activities.
*Working knowledge of HR related policies and procedures.
*Good organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
*Strong process orientation, attention to detail, time management and organization skills.
*Proficient with MS Office suite.
*Working knowledge of human resource information systems. Oracle Fusion experience is a plus.
*Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for sourcing, tracking, and managing the candidate workflow. Peoplefluent experience is a plus.
*Must be authorized to work in the US.
