Overview:

Successful candidate for the position of Administrative Assistant - Finance will perform various administrative, clerical and financial tasks to support our accounting office. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth office operations. Candidate must be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills.

Responsibilities:

* A/R and A/P entry into accounting system
* Perform duties related to Accounts Payable
* Perform duties related to Accounts Receivable
* Maintain vendor and customer files
* Sort, code and match invoices to purchase orders
* Prepare and preform check runs
* Assist with month end closing (as needed)
* Receptionist duties and visitor control
* Ordering office supplies
* Coordinate shipping of packages/product
* Computer skills, proficient with MS Office applications (Word and Excel)
* Preform filing and copying
* Assist with payroll data processing/timecard entry
* Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures

High School Diploma/GED

Minimum of two (2) of experience in clerical/finance field or education equivalent

Accounting or Bookkeeping experience preferred but not required
