ISR & Space Systems is a business unit within UTC Aerospace Systems and our products reside in deep space, low earth orbit, undersea and on the ground. We are also a major supplier to international space programs. The ISR & Space Systems business has contributed to significant advances in ground, air, space and imaging technology for over 85 years. Within ISR & Space Systems we design and manufacture Environmental Control and Life Support Systems on the International Space Station, including the space suit, and undersea in submarines. This administrative coordinator position offers an exciting opportunity to proactively manage a wide range of executive and administrative duties and processes required to support the leadership team of the Civil Space & Sea Systems business.

Core responsibilities for this position:

* Coordinating meetings and working on special projects.
* Scheduling and time management including prioritization and calendar management.
* Ordering office supplies and other materials as required.
* Manage and maintain filing systems, proof reading, as well as sorting and classifying correspondence.
* Coordination of complex travel arrangements, prepare & audit expense reports for approval and processing.
* Prepare & maintain a variety of highly confidential documents.
* Organizing various events and activities for the business.
* Prepare internal and external corporate communication.
* Protecting sensitive and confidential information received and generated.
* Perform additional assignments as directed.

Qualification:
* 5+ years of experience preferred, including experience directly supporting a senior executive and/or business leadership team.
* Advanced proficiency in most recent Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.)
* Ability to handle high volume of calls in a fast paced environment.
* Must be detail-oriented; possess executive presence, maturity and judgment.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
* Skilled at organizing administrative processes and systems.
* Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and autonomously.
* Self-starter who is resourceful and takes initiative. Capable of working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Successfully interacts with a global Enterprise leadership team and administrative assistants.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills that allow one to proactively anticipate requirements and potential problems.
* Proficient in writing, editing, and grammatical skills.
* Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Must be enthusiastic with a positive outlook and possess a “can-do” work ethic
* Resourceful and able to handle multiple and changing priorities.
* Must be a US Person.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalency required. Undergraduate degree in business or related field preferred
