Primary Responsibilities:

* Support deployment of the UTC ACE Operating System throughout Aerostructures which will lead to best-in-class performance.
* Driving the application of ACE/CI tools and methodologies in both business and manufacturing environments, becoming recognized as an influential leader of Continous Improvement (CI) by guiding, coaching and supporting the Value Streams, Sites & Facilities.
* Participating in AIM assessments and demonstrating proper application and interpretation of the criteria.
* Driving Standard Factory and Lean Transformation activities in key manufacturing sites.
* Leading Kaizen events including Value Stream Mapping, Mfg Standard Work and Cell Design, 5S, TPM, Process Certification, Relentless Root Cause Analysis, Set Up Reduction, and Benchmarking.
* Creating and updating standard work for ACE/CI Office processes and supporting existing systems and procedures.
* Coaching and mentoring Value Streams, Sites & Facilities within our business on their ACE & CI journey.
* Recognizing and leveraging best practices and bringing them to the ACE Office for sharing and implementation across Aerostructures.
* Developing employees in their ACE / continuous improvement skill set by providing formal and informal training.
* Developing and maintaining CI training materials and Standard Factory assessment matrix.
* Supporting key business improvement projects which drive cost, efficiency, quality, and lean.

Level of Responsibility:

* Has responsibility for supporting all facets of ACE/CI progression within Aerostructures.
* Will assist in the development of gap closure plans to enable performance improvements.
* Will interface directly with Value Streams, Sites & Facilities Executives/Management to positively influence and lead ACE/CI culture, tools use, and competency improvement
* Accountable for delivering results within department budgeting and staffing levels

Qualification:
Basic Qualifications:

* 3+ years Continuous Improvement experience
* Demonstrated leadership and relationship building
* Good knowledge of UTC ACE Operating System or equivalent Continuous Improvement methodology (i.e. Toyota Production System).
* ACE Practitioner, or working towards equivalent proficiency in ACE/CI tools.
* Good demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques and application.
* Assessment/audit background preferred.
* Strong communication & presentation skills both up and down the organization
* Effectively able to train and facilitate in a classroom setting.
* Good analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on results (driving to root cause).
* Strong customer focus
* Due to ITAR restrictions, must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
​Preferred Skills:
* Experience and awareness of different countries/cultures

Education:
* Bachelors Degree and 3+ years experience. MBA or Masters degree is preferred
