FLY ME TO THE MOON...... Interested?? Come and join our fast expanding global aviation client as a 2nd Line Engineer. Based at Farnborough Airport.
You will work as part of a team and have the opportunity to grow within the company.
40 hours per week. Permanent job.
REPORT TO: Service Desk Manager.
ROLE:
- Support and maintain clients IT infrastructure.
- Install and configure new solutions.
- Carry out regular service reviews.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and share with team.
- Provide out of hours support on a rota basis.
- Provide mentoring to 1st Line Engineers and train and assist during busy periods.
REQUIREMENTS:
Min of 3 years experience in a similar 2nd line technical role.
Experience in:
MS Windows server 2012 and 2016 and DHCP/DNS services.
Active directory and Group policy.
Diagnose, repair and solve hardware/software server and network related issues.
MS SQL, IIS Sharepoint, Microsoft Exchange, RDS and Terminal Server.
Virtualisation solutions eg VMWare and Hyper-V.
VLANs and VPNs experience.
Understanding of backups and restoration.
Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
