Job Title: Fleet Principal Engineer - B737

CAE Parc Aviation are presently accepting applications for an Fleet Principal Engineer - B737 & Powerplant for our client. The successful candidate can be based in Dublin.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that all the fleet engineering is performed on time and to the approved standard.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Study, analyse, and seek solutions to problems related to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, modification, or repair of aircraft or engines, and their components; Use a structured, logical, and analytical approach in problem solving
  • Define maintenance program, configuration, and serviceability criteria ensuring safe and legal operations; Analyse and implement regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate the effects of modifications or new equipment on reliability and performance; Evaluate the benefits of the cost impact of a fleet decision to ensure an optimum balance of cost, asset utilisation, quality and reliability
  • Author, design, test, and manage projects; Provides on-site technical support for line and base operations; Communicate with customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations
  • Interface with internal and external organisations regarding specific aircraft, power plant, and component issues; Organise and manage the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplish the work processes to meet all the deliverables for projects or maintenance program changes/technical specification revisions
  • Coordinate work with other operational groups to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Manage projects to include developing solutions and implementation plans, project justification, cost/benefit analysis
  • Maintain competence on the basis of continued education and training in their area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Engineering skill sets which can be applied to a range of fleet aircraft systems
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant packages

Experience:

  • Experience related to detalied cost/benefit analysis of projects as well as effectively engaging cross-functional stakeholders
  • 3 years' experience in aviation environment

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU.

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
